Michael Lukachko lives and works in Chatham, NJ. His work is profoundly affected by the three years he spent studying and working in Florence, Italy. He uses early Italian Renaissance tarsia panels as a starting point, adding different media such as collage, paint and gilding to give these ancient masterpieces a new life.
